Held on December 19, 2002 at 6:30PM in the Duncansville Borough Municipal Building.

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes were unavailable from the last meeting.
Treasurer's Report: Tom Miller reported we have a balance of $3,962.26 in the treasury.  
Annual expenses for the last year are reported as $1,295.00 approximately.  Tom stated the expenses included insurance, website (BCLEOMF.org), etc. and there is a need to focus on fund-raising in order to maintain the BCLEOMF beyond the next three years.
Fundraising ideas were discussed with the mention of the following in no particular order:
Free Booth at the Logan Valley Mall, Catholic Mass/Fundraiser, Gun Raffle, Golf Fundraiser, Calendar (Yearly), etc.
The mention of a Department Patch/Memorial Patch for Special Services and the inquiry about the small games of chance license will be discussed at the next meeting.

The reappointment of the Chaplain and the Sergeant at Arms positions were tabled until the next meeting.
Monthly meetings are to be held on the third Thursday with the next meeting on January 16, 2003 at the Blair Township Municipal Building @ 575 Cedarcrest Drive, Duncansville, PA  16635 @ 7PM.
