Held on January 16, 2003 at 7:00PM in the Blair Township W&S Authority Building.

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes were read from the last meeting held on December 19, 2002.

Treasurer's Report: Tom Miller reported we have a balance of $3,931.37 in the treasury.  
Annual expenses for the last year are reported as $1,295.00 approximately.  Tom restated the need to focus on fund-raising in order to maintain the BCLEOMF beyond the next three years.
Old Business: The reappointment of the Chaplain and the Sergeant at Arms positions were tabled from the previous meeting and were voted on as follows:

New Business:
Chief Ray Moss suggested approaching businesses in the Blair County community about corporate sponsorship as a fundraiser.  He will check on getting a list and have it available at the meeting on February 20, 2003.  Bobby Hoover also mentioned listing the corporate sponsors on the website (BCLEOMF.org) as well as ceremony recognition in June 2003.

Several names are being reviewed for the upcoming ceremony and the following will be contacted to inquire about availability to speak at the ceremony:

Chief Tom Miller will be checking on the non-profit status for the Blair County Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Foundation.  
Chief Jim Ott will be checking on the tax-exempt status for the Blair County Law Enforcement Officer Memorial Foundation.  
Those involved in last year's Memorial Service are asked to review last year's ceremony, so work can begin soon to finalize details for this year's upcoming ceremony on June 19, 2003.
February 20, 2003 meeting to be held at The Dream Restaurant, Route 22 East, Hollidaysburg @ 8:30AM in the back room.
